Kit’s Korner

 

I believe that God desires and delights in time spent with us. In the busyness of our days, specially during this time of transition, take sometime– some Sabbath time to renew and be renewed by God.

 

 

Lord, slow me,

help me set aside Sabbath time to wait in your presence,

 to inhale the breath of your holiness,

to nestle into the warmth of your heart,

to be at peace among the pieces of my day.

Sabbath time is new wine

curing, settling, ripening, revealing

your presence in the stillness.

Slow me, show me your heart apart from the world,

so I can weave a new peace for today and for tomorrow’s

Sabbath time.
